Amicus Gallery has a collection of Fine Art & Fine Craft and is located in the heart of the charming seaside village of Chester, Nova Scotia.  The gallery showcases predominatly Nova Scotian artists.

The gallery was opened in 1996 by potter Paula MacDonald. Amicus means "friend" in Latin, and the gallery is a gathering of the work of many friends.  It is our pleasure to run a gallery which many have said is the most beautiful gallery on the South Shore.

Chester is less than an hour west of Halifax.
